FloridaWorks board member, Kali Blount, is teaching a series of workshops at the Civic Media Center - 433 S Mainstreet Gainesville, FL. - called "Essential Afrikan History". The sixth installment of these monthly workshops is being held on February 12, at 4:00pm. 

The workshops teach history and disciplines of Africa that have been attributed to other Mediterranean cultures as well as contributions of Africans and African Americans in more recent history.
